A newsletter on the latest developments in the field of electromobility
The Dutch Embassy regularly informs with a newsletter about new projects and innovations from the Netherlands in the field of sustainable transport, especially charging infrastructure and e-mobility.
The newsletter is primarily aimed at German cities, municipalities and regions to inform them about developments in the field of e-mobility in the Netherlands. The aim is to inform and inspire to create a joint network around the topic of electromobility.

Volvo Group, Daimler Truck, and the TRATON GROUP sign joint venture agreement for European high-performance charging network.
Gothenburg, Sweden / Munich, Germany / Stuttgart, Germany – The three leading commercial vehicle manufacturers Volvo Group, Daimler Truck, and the TRATON GROUP have now signed a binding agreement to create a joint venture (JV) to install and operate a high-performance public charging network for battery electric, heavy-duty long-haul trucks and coaches across Europe. As previously communicated, the parties are committed to initiating and accelerating the necessary build-up of charging infrastructure for the increasing number of customers of electric vehicles in Europe and contribute to climate-neutral transportation in Europe by 2050. Leichtbau Baden-Würtemberg visits RAI Automotive Industry NL at the Automotive Campus in Helmond
Lightweight technology is a key factor for the society and industry of tomorrow. The saving of weight, material and energy is a prerequisite for a sustainable world in view of a steadily growing world population and lack of resources.
Last year, RAI Automotive Industry NL organized a work visit to Baden-Würtemberg, and this week Leichtbau Baden-Würtemberg made a field trip to RAI Automotive Industry NL at the Automotive Campus in Helmond. The fieldtrip was in the context of the cooperation within the European Lightweight Association (ELA), of which both LB BW and RAI AI NL are members. See full article.

Do you know the Elaad Testlab in Arnhem?
This year, ElaadNL opened a new test lab for electric vehicles in Arnhem, the Netherlands. As part of the energy cluster Connectr , which aims to advance the energy transition, different organisations are working together to test new ideas. They have financed the lab.
